Course overview: Fire legislation DVD; Fire Wardens duties The basic chemistry of fire and its differing classes Fire fighting procedures Causes of fires and their prevention Fixed fire fighting installations Evacuation assembly point and fire drills Fire alarms Fire hazards Human Behaviour in a Fire Risk assessment awareness The Duties and Responsibilities of a Fire Warden/Marshall Extinguisher recognition and use (theory and practical) Aims/Outcomes • Candidates will have an effective understanding of the knowledge required to assist in the event of a fire and evacuation at work. This course will be attended by Anyone with First Marshall role within a company. Managers Supervisors Successful candidates will receive an approved certification valid for three years
